Detention Mesh Screens
Patented 'Fish Hook' Lock-In System
Stainless Steel Security Doors & Screens

Cross-section: The only product on the market that can tighten the mesh within the frame.
Detention Screens Australia’s Exclusive patented fish hook
‘Tension Grip’ system enables a full range of mesh sizes to be
applied to exceed the Australian Standard 5039 Impact Test.
In the period since the Detention Screen system was introduced in Western Australia in 1988 there have been ZERO burglary entries through a Detention Door or Detention Screen by:
Knife Slashing
Exceeds Australian Standards 5039, Knife Shear Test
Impact Force
Exceeds Australian Standards 5039, Impact Test
Jemmy Attack
Screen & Doors are manufactured to Australian Standards 5039

Manufacture involves a 60 tonne hydraulic press forming a fold back portion along all sides of the mesh. The mesh grips within the recess of its frame, is locked under the tension & cannot be removed. Without the use of ugly bolts or rivets, this also gives a very neat & well finished appearance.
