AUSTRALIAN SECURITY DOOR STANDARDS
Australian Standards are published documents setting out specifications and procedures designed to ensure products, services and systems are safe, reliable and consistently perform the way they are intended to. They establish a minimum set of requirements which define quality and safety criteria.
When it comes to the design and testing of our security products, we have taken every step to ensure that our doors, window screens, and other security products exceed all the recommended Australian Standards.
Every single one of our products in the range has been designed with the security and safety of our end users in mind.
PROMESH316 and SecureGrille products have been independently tested by
Azuma Design
which is one of Australia's largest privately-owned compliance testing and engineering companies.
Australian Standard AS5039

CYCLONE IMPACT TEST - PASSED
The Australian Standard Cyclone Missile Impact Test was conducted on a PROMESH316 security screen, where a solid piece of hardwood was launched into the screen at very high speeds to determine its strength and suitability of use in cyclone prone areas.
BUSHFIRE PRONE AREAS - PASSED
PROMESH316 security screens may be used in bushfire prone areas. The Australian Standard Bushfire Prone Areas Test prescribes the suitability of mesh used for screening of doors or windows to prevent an ember attack.
